Marion Kalkau, 83, of Grove Isle, Vero Beach, FL died Saturday, February 16, 2008 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Kalkau was born in New Haven, CT and moved to Grove Isle 22 years ago from Williston Park, NY.
Prior to retirement she had bee an office manager for Goodwin & Associates Mortgage Brokers in Garden City, NY. She was of the Lutheran Faith. She had been the secretary of the Grove Isle Homeowners Association and active in establish many recreational activities at Grove Isle.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years Henry Kalkau of Grove Isle, son Thomas Kalkau of Huntington, NY, and six grandchildren.
Mrs. Kalkau was predeceased by a son Douglas Kalkau.
Services: A memorial service will take place 11 AM, Thursday, February 21, 2008 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
