Majorie Lewis, 94, of Vero Beach, FL., passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at VNA Hospice House.
Majorie was born June 9, 1920 in Wabasso, FL, daughter of the late Edgar and Lillian Fields. She had been a resident of Vero Beach for 25 years, coming from Miami, FL. Majorie was a school teacher having worked for the Dade County School District for 35 years prior to retiring in 1985. She attended Piedmont College in North Georgia for her Undergraduate Degree and obtained her Master's Degree from Florida State University.

She was a member of the Community Church of Vero Beach, did volunteer work with the S.E. Guide Dog Foundation and enjoyed art classes at the Vero Beach Museum of Art.

Marjorie was predeceased by her husband Donald D, Lewis and her sisters, Anita and Velma.
