Marjorie Augusta Thompson's Obituary
Marjorie N. Thompson,95 of Vero Beach, FL died December 21, 2009 at Indian River Medical Center.
Mrs. Thompson was born June 2,1914 in Bayshore, NY and moved to Vero Beach 4 uyears ago from Lake Grove, NY.
She was the valedictorian of her high school class, the first cashier at the Smithtown theater on Main Street when it first opened, an office assistant Faith Insurance Company and Head Teller at the Bank of Smithtown. She was a homemaker, excelling in baking, sewing, as well as an avid reader.
Surviving are her daughter, Julie Fink of Vero Beach, 2 granddaughter and 4 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service at the Smithtown Landing Church will be planned and held in the spring of 2009.
