Mark Robert Hazen (Age 60) of Hutchinson Island, Florida passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2019 with his wife by his side.

He was born to the late Robert Joseph Hazen and Maryann Hazen on February 28, 1959 in Washington DC.

Mark graduated from Lee High School in Springfield, VA and received his BS from George Mason University where he was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE) fraternity.

He married his wife Cindy in 1985 and they resided in Burke, VA and then Fairfax Station, VA for 30 years.

Mark retired from the FBI after 31 years, and then relocated to North Hutchinson Island, FL in 2015.

Mark is survived by his wife Cindy; mother Maryann Hazen;  sister Candice Bell and husband Dirk;  sister Renee Piper and husband Nyal;  Cindy's parents Kurt and Barbara Evans;  brother Scott Evans.  He is also survived by 2 nieces and 2 nephews.

A celebration of life will be held later this summer in Virginia.

The family is requesting that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
