Marlene Viegas, 66, of Port Saint Lucie, FL died Saturday, January 23, 2010 at her home.
Mrs. Viegas was born June 21, 1943 in Newark, NJ and moved to Port Saint Lucie recently from Bloomsbury, NJ.
She had worked at Warren Hospital for 20 years as a Nursing Supervisor in Phillipsburg, NJ. Prior to retirement she had worked for Genesis Health Care in Phillipsburg, NJ.
She was a member of the Catholic Church of Annunciation in Bloomsbury, New Jersey
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, James Viegas of Port Saint Lucie, sons James Viegas, II of Monument, CO and Christopher Viegas of Miami, FL, daughter Stephanie Viegas of Hollywood, FL, brother John Melasippo of Colonia, NJ, sisters Delores DeRidgi of Howell Township, NJ and Carolyn Melasippo of Las Vegas, NV and four grandchildren.
Services: A memorial mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM, Friday, February 5, 2010 at St. Matthews Catholic Church, 542 Blue Heron Drive, Hallandale Beach, FL 33009.
