Marshall H. Holtz, Jr., 85, of Vero Beach, FL died Sunday, October 30, 2011 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.

Mr. Holtz was born January 16, 1926 in Hackensack, NJ and moved to Vero Beach in 1999 from Fort Myers Beach, FL.

He had been a real estate broker prior to his retirement and was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach. Mr. Holtz was a veteran of World War II, serving in the US Navy.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years Mary Louise Holtz of Vero Beach; son Thomas Holtz of Fort Myers, FL; daughter Susan Holtz of Waianae, HI; a grandchild and a great-grandchild.

Services: Mass will be celebrated 11 AM, Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach. Interment will be at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL.
