Martin Marty Norman Hoyvik, 68 of Sebastian (Sunshine Park), FL died Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, FL.
He was born December 21, 1941 in Brooklyn, NY and was a resident of Sebastian since 1998, coming from Griggstown, NJ.
Mr. Hoyvik retired as a detective from Franklin Township, NJ after 35 years. He was a graduate of Princeton High School. He was a member of the Ellks Lodge, the Italian American Club, the Moose Lodge, the Orioles, the FOP all of Sebastian and was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Survivors includes many friends.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1500 W. Cypress Creek Rd., Suite 104, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309.
A memorial service will be held from 1-3:00 PM on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at the Elks Lodge in Sebastian, FL. Further services will be held in Griggstown, NJ and an inurnment will be in Griggstown Cemetery.
