Mary Jane Bartholow, 80, of Palm Bay, Fl died Tuesday, October 21, 2008.
She was born January 6, 1928 in Berrien Springs, Michigan and was a resident of Palm Bay, FL for 3 years moving from Sebastian, Fl
Mrs. Bartholow was a homemaker and was a charter member and helped build the First Presbyterian Church. She was the first owner & franchisee of Maryland Fried Chicken in 1960.She enjoyed most sports and played golf & tennis. She loved to boating, fishing an hunting for quail in Mexico, mule deer & gueesse in Texas white tail deer in Fl & Michigan and shrimp, fished and crabbed the indian River for Oak Hill to Ft. Pierce for over 40 years.
Surviving her husband of 60 years Douglas B. Bartholow of Palm Bay, FL; sons:Mel Bartholow of Chipley, FL: Mark Bartholow of Denver, CO; daughter Connie Smith of Chulusta, FL; brother Fred Sill of CA; sister Lois Vorrath of MI; 6 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 8, 2008, at the First Presbyterian Church, Sebastian, FL.
