Obituary: Mary Maxine Bohn
Mary Cassy Maxine Bohn, 86, of Okeechobee, FL died Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at her home.
Mrs. Bohn was born September 26, 1924 in Quay, FL and moved to Okeechobee in 1985 from Apache Junction, AZ. She had lived in Indian River County from her birth until 1944.when she moved to California.
She was had been a librarian for the Centry School in Okeechobee and was of the Lutheran faith. She had been a member of the Moose Lodge in Okeechobee.
Survivors include her step-daughters Hazel P. Miller, step-sons Howard Miller and Hector Bohn, nephew Kenneth Kinchen, nieces Lois Alexa, Joan Caldwell, Marsha Kinchen and Vernell Mathis. Son-in-law Loal Donaldson and step-daughter-in-law Pauline Bohn.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Frank Miller, second husband Glen Bohn, daughter Carolyn Donaldson, step-son Glen Bohn, Jr., brothers Marvin Kinchen, Leonard Kinchen and Robert Kinchen, and sister Allie Mathis.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Okeechobee Health Care Facility, 1646 Hwy. 441, Okeechobee, FL 34974.
SERVICES: The family will receive friends 3-5 PM, Monday, May 23, 2011 at the Buxton-Seawinds Funeral Home in Okeechobee, FL with a funeral service at 5 PM at the funeral home, Pastor Gene Rodenberry officiating. A graveside service will take place 2 PM, Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Winter Beach Cemetery in Winter Beach, FL.
