Mary Borzell, 82, of Vero Beach, FL, passed away Friday, August 21, 2015, at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL.

Mary was a native of Bronx, NY, and moved to Vero Beach in 1996 from Wheatley Heights, LINY.

Prior to retirement Mary worked for Newsday in Long Island New York for twenty years.

Mary attended St. John of the Cross in Vero Beach, FL

Mary was predeceased by her husband of sixty years, John E. Borzell, and a sister, Margie Chutjian and a granddaughter, Christine Franke.

Mary is survived by a son, Robert Borzell and his wife, Grace of Hooksett, NH, daughter, Christine Franke and her husband, John of Vero Beach, FL, brother, Louis Damone of Lake Worth, FL, sister, Nancy Troiano of Bayonet Point, FL, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 till 11:00 am, on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00, noon, at St. Helen Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce, FL.
