Mary L,. Carter, 81, of Fellsmere died Friday, February 8, 2008 at her residence in Fellsmere, Fl.
She was born on March 21, 1926 in Providence, Rhode Island and had been a resident of Fellsmere for 28 years coming from Ft. Lauderdale, Fl.
Prior to retirement she was a private caterer. She was a member of the United Church of God. She was, for many years,the treasurer for the Fellsmere Library Association and a member of the Historical Society.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Lee Everett Carter of Fellsmere, Fl; son Dale Carter of Fellsmere, Fl;sister Thersea Evans Gaul of Providence, RI; 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 1 great-great child. She was predeceased by her son, Dean Carter in 2005.
Memorial contributions may be made to charity of choice.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at Fellsmere cemetery at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Roy Demarest officiating.
