Cassy Mary M. Bohn, age 86, died Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at the Okeechobee Health Care Facility. Mary was born in Quay, Fla. and lived in Indian River County from her birth until 1944 when she moved to California. In 1985 she moved to Okeechobee from Apache Junction, AZ.
She was a librarian for the Centry School in Okeechobee, a member of the Lutheran faith and a member of the Ladies of the Moose in Okeechobee.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Miller; second husband, Glen Bohn; daughter, Carolyn Donaldson; step-son, Glen Bohn, Jr.; brothers, Marvin Kinchen, Leonard Kinchen, Robert Kinchen; and sister, Allie Mathis.
Survivors include her nephew, Kenneth Kinchen; nieces, Lois Alexa, Joan Caldwell, Marsha Kinchen, and Vernell Mathis.
Visiting hours will be at Buxton-Seawinds Funeral Home on Monday, May 23, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. until service time of 5:00 p.m. with Gene Roddenberry officiating. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Winter Beach Cemetery in Winter Beach, Florida.
