Mary K Czernis' Obituary
Mary K. Czernis, 80, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away November 25, 2013 at her home with her family by her side.
She was born September 17, 1933 in Schenectady, NY and had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1955.
Mrs. Czernis retired as a banking officer from First Union Bank in Vero Beach after 33 years of service.
Mary was a woman of strong faith. She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church where she also served as a volunteer.
She is survived by her sons, John (Brenda) Czernis of Tallahassee, FL and Raymond (Wanda) Czernis, Sr. of Vero Beach; daughter, Peggy Johnson of Vero Beach; grandchildren, Thomas, Juliette, Joey, Johnny, Sean, Stephanie, Ashley, Raymond Jr., Roxanne, Larry, Brandon and Michael and 6 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond S. Czernis; son, Peter Czernis and daughter, MaryAnne Holsomback.
At the request of the family, a private service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to VNA & Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
