Mary Jane Emde, 81, of Sebastian, FL died, Monday, September 20, 2010 at her home.
Mrs. Emde was born February 4, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Sebastian in May from Nutley, NJ.
Mrs. Emde was an accountant for a CPA Firm for 14 years, a Nutley High School Business Teacher and Cooperative Office Eduction Coordinator for 9 years, from 1968-1977, and a Guidance Counselor for 20 years before retiring in 1997. She was a life member of the American Association of University Women and the National and New Jersey Education Associations, and a member of the League of Women Voters.
Surviving are her five children, daughter, Susan, sons, Stephen, Kevin, Joseph Peter III and Michael; brothers, Peter and Joseph and six grandchildren.
