Mary Hogan Hills, 95, of Vero Beach, FL died Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at her home. She has been a resident of Indian River Estates West, since moving from Port Saint Lucie, FL where they spent winters from Glastonbary, CT.
She was born in Ansonia, CT March 10, 1917 and lived there until moving to Rock hill, CT in 1955. She is a graduate of New Haven College (now University of New Haven). She worked for the State Department of Labor for many years retiring as a Management Analyst. Prior to that, she was a manager of an Unemployment Compensation Office.
She was parishioner at St. John of the Cross.
Survivors include her son Michael (Annette) Hills 0f Wilmington, CT; daughter Gloria(Rene) Marion of Putnam, CT, eleven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Charles E. Hills and four older brothers.
A memorial service will be held at Indian River Estates at 11am on Saturday, June 16, 2012 in the Willow brook Facility. Reception to follow after the service
