Mary Louise Jacques, 79, of Vero Beach, FL died Friday, June 6, 2008 at home.
Mrs. Jacques was born January 6, 1929 in Cambridge, MA and moved to Vero Beach in 1982 from Winchendon, MA.
She was of the Catholic Faith. Mrs. Jacques was a veteran of the Korean War, serving as a nurse in the US Army in the 121st EVAC Hospital. She was a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts and a lifelong member of the American Legion, the VFW and the Winchendon Historical Association.
Survivors include her husband William Bill A. Jacques of Vero Beach, sister Yvonne Gerry Harrington of Winchendon, step-daughter Kathy Jacques of Damariscotta, ME, step-sons William W. Jacques of Achorage, AK and Stephen Jacques of Chelsea, ME, nine nieces and nephews, and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers Ralph G. Diehl, Jr. and Anton B. Diehl.
Service: A Mass will be celebrated 10 AM, Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach. Final services and interment will take place in Winchendon.
