Mary Ann Jette, age 64, died Friday, May 13, 2011, at Raulerson Hospital. Born in New York and formerly of Sebring, Mary Ann had been a resident of Lakeport since 1999.
A member of the Lakeport Garden Club, she enjoyed being outdoors fishing, camping, and hunting. Her grandchildren were an important part of her life and she would willingly help anyone in the world. She was employed over 15 years with the Seminole Brighton Casino.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Jette, Sr. Survivors include a son, Douglas Jette, Jr.; daughter, Mechell Jette (Daniel Beard); grandson, Troy Kellogg; granddaughters; Ashley Blain, Samantha Blain, and Amanda Brendell, all of Lakeport.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
