Mary Lonergan, 95, of Fort Pierce, FL died Thursday, September 30, 2010 at her home.
Mrs. Lonergan was born December 5, 1914 in Ireland and moved to Fort Pierce fifteen years ago from North Arlington, NJ.
She had worked for General Motors in Clark, NJ prior to her retirement. Mrs. Lonergan was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach and Queen of Peace Catholic Church in North Arlington where she was also a member of Emmaus and the Rosary Society.
Survivors include her son, Michael (Arlene) Lonergan of Toms River, NJ; daughter, Kay Lonergan of Fort Pierce; son-in-law, Bob Winner of Hawaii; grandchildren, Stephen (Jan) Winner, Sean (Diana) Winner and Dawn Winner of Hawaii, and Ian (Jill) Lonergan of Delaware and Brian Lonergan of California; and a great-grandchild, Robbie Winner of Hawaii.
She was preceded in death by her husband Michael Lonergan, Sr. and a daughter Judith Winner.
Services: Mrs. Lonergan will be transferred to the Parow Funeral Home in North Arlington for visitation 4-8 PM on Thursday at the funeral home and Mass at 10 AM on Friday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in North Arlington.
