Mary E. McPeak, 73, of Vero Beach, FL died Friday, May 7, 2010 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach following a prolonged illness.
Mrs. McPeak was born January 23, 1937 in The Bronx, NY and moved to Vero Beach 18 years ago from Vincentown, NJ.
Prior to retirement Mary was a teacher in parochial elementary schools in New Jersey.
Survivors include her sisters Peggy Corrigan of Ramsey, NJ and Eileen Burke of The Bronx, NY; and a brother Frank Burke of Stratford, CT.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harry McPeak, and two brothers John and Joseph Burke.
Services: The family will receive friends 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach with a prayer service at 7 PM. Mass will be celebrated 10 AM, Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach. Inurnment will be at Our Savior Catholic Church Cemetery in Cocoa Beach, FL.
