Maureen M Lynch's Obituary
Maureen M. Lynch of Vero Beach, Florida died December 24, 2014 at Indian River Medical Center.
She was born in New York City to the late John and Margaret Sheehan. Since her retirement 21 years ago, she split her time between Vero Beach and New York.
Maureen worked 20 years for the New York City Board of Education. Over her life, she volunteered her time including an outreach program to the poor of NYC through Lady of Lourdes parish. In addition, she supported several charities.
Maureen was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church, Vero Beach. She was also a member of the Ancient Order Hibernians Auxiliary.
Maureen is survived by her husband of 59 years, Joseph Lynch; daughters, Aileen Lynch of Attleboro, MA and Sheila Lynch of Mahopac, NY; and son, Jerry Lynch of Bronx, NY. Maureen is preceded in death by her brother, Donald Sheehan of Brooklyn, NY and sister, Veronica Kelly of Queens, NY.
A memorial mass will be held 10 am, Friday, January 2, 2015 at St. Helen Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant House.
