Meryl Alice Rooney's Obituary
Meryl Alice Rooney, 97, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away December 13, 2013 at Atlantic Health Care.
She was born February 11, 1916 in Arkansas City, KS and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 55 years.
Mrs. Rooney is survived by her son, George (Cheryl) Rooney of Vero Beach and 5 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert and 2 daughters.
A visitation will be held 11:30-12:30, Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, Vero Beach. Interment will immediately follow at Crestlawn Cemetery.
