Matthew (Lefty) B. Ziemba, 82 of Sebastian, FL died Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL.
He was born August 6, 1926 in Passaic, NJ and was a resident of this area since 1989 coming from Wallington, NJ.
Mr. Ziemba was a member of the Polish American Club in Vero Beach, the Passaic Maple Leafs and attended St. Sebastian Catholic Church and formally of Holy Rosary Church in Passaic, NJ.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Sophie Ziemba of Sebastian, FL; brother John Ziemba of Garfield, NJ; sisters, Mary Krzanowski of Clifton, NJ, Emily DiSena of Las Vegas, NV, Florence Colella of Whiting, NJ; step-daughters Patricia Givens of Troy, MI, Kathy Ann Skorupka of Wallington, NJ, Bonnie Mizdol-Zapotosky of Paramus, NJ; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Stanley Ziemba, sisters Jean Bednarz, Helen Pollack.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM, on Monday, July 13, 2009 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church. A reception will follow at Polish American Club in Vero Beach, FL.
