Michael J. Blatus, 43, of Vero Beach, FL died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at his home.
Mr. Blatus was born January 15, 1966 in Hempstead, NY and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 35 years coming from St. Petersburg, FL.
He was a graduate of IRCC and the University of Central Florida in Orlando and worked as a Fiber Optic Cable Technician for Lucent Technologies and later worked for Trans Global. He was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church and in his free time he enjoyed diving and fishing.
Survivors include his parents Carol and James Blatus of Vero Beach; brother Christopher Blatus of Vero Beach; and sisters Patricia Blatus of Denver, CO and Jean Blatus of Vero Beach.
Services: A Mass will be celebrated 10:00 am, Saturday, July 18, 2009 at St. Helen Catholic Church.
