Michael Stephen Bogin, 67, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018.  Michael was born in Nantucket, Massachusetts  to Bernard and Betty Bogin.  Michael worked as a writer and editor for the Press Journal Newspaper for over 20 years.  He later taught elementary school.

He is preceded in death by his father, Bernard and brother, Glenn Bogin.  He is survived  by his wife of 29 years, Wenda; daughter, Carrie Ann (Nicholas) Correa; son, Mark Bogin; step-son, James (Megan) Balkite; 4 grandchildren; mother, Betty Bogin; brother's, Scott (Tammie) Bogin and David Bogin; sister, Bonnie (Dan) Pierce  and his faithful dog, Andaleigh Leroi Bogin.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at 3 PM, at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home, 1950 20 ^th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960.  The family will receive friends from 2 PM to 3 PM.
