Michael Edwin Burford, 64, of Vero Beach, FL died unexpectedly Monday, February 13, 2012 in Vero Beach,FL.
Mr. Burford was born July 25, 1947 in Independence, MS. He was a resident of Vero Beach, FL for 25 years coming from Sarasota, FL.
He served in the United States Marine Corp and was honorably discharged.
He was a member of Unity Church in Sarasota, FL and All Saints Episcopal Church in Jensen Beach, FL.
He worked as a respiratory therapist for local area hospitals for over 40 years.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 19 years MariJo Burford of Vero Beach, FL; daughters Kristin Bodnar of White City, FL and Aimee Schubert of Port Saint Lucie, FL; Also, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 3pm Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. LC Campbell officiating.
Memorial Contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 1101 Northchase Parkway , Marietta, GA 30067.
