Michael William
Caron
January 30, 1954 – October 30, 2023
Michael William Caron, 69, of Vero Beach, passed away on October 30, 2023, at his home. He was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, to the late George H. Caron and Alfreda Savoie Caron. Michael was married to his high school sweetheart, Anne Goss Caron, for 40 loving years.
Michael's life was filled with remarkable achievements and a deep love for his family. He graduated from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy and distinguished himself by receiving an award for scoring the highest on his Coast Guard exam which was a culmination of his four years course of study. Aside from his impressive professional accomplishments, Michael had a passion for sports and the outdoors. He played ice hockey during his high school and college years and was known for his competitive spirit and dedication to the game. An avid fisherman, he found solace and joy in spending time by the water, pursuing his favorite pastime.
In 1978, Michael and his family made the life-changing decision to relocate to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, from their Massachusetts home and in 1986 made the move to Vero Beach. This move allowed them to embrace the beautiful Florida lifestyle, and they became active members of the Vero Beach community.
