Michael Dennis Gelety's Obituary
Michael Dennis Gelety, Jr., 58, of Ft. Pierce, Florida died, Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center.
He was born March 30, 1955 in Binghamton, New York and had been a resident of Ft. Pierce for 33 years, coming from his birthplace.
Mr. Gelety was the owner of Autoland, Florida Auto Pawn and Gelety Properties, with locations throughout the Treasure Coast.
He served as a board member for Oculina Bank.
Mr. Gelety is survived by his wife of six years, Karen S. Gelety; step-daughter, Amelia Champion of Orlando, FL; step-son, Alex Champion of Ft. Pierce; sisters, Linda Phelan Hillcrest, NY and Rosie Wood of Binghamton; brothers, John Gelety of Bainbridge, NY and Nicholas Gelety of Ft. Pierce, FL. He was predeceased by his parents, Michael D. and Rose Marie Gelety.
A graveside service will be held 3:00pm, Tuesday May 14, 2013 at White City Cemetery, Ft. Pierce.
