Michael Edward Hogan, Sr., 87, of Village Green, Vero Beach, FL died Friday, May 28, 2010 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mr. Hogan was born February 3, 1923 in Cohoes, NY and spent winters in Vero Beach since 1990.
He retired from Norton Company in Watervliet, NY and was a veteran of WW II, serving in the US Army in the European Theatre. Mr. Hogan was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach, the VFW, American Legion, Elks and Eagles.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Irene K. Hogan of Vero Beach and Argyle, NY; sons Michael Hogan, Jr. Of Clifton Park, NY and Dennis Hogan of Ballston Spa, NY; daughter Christine Hogan-Kilburn (Harold Kilburn, Jr.) of Queensbury, NY; brother Bernard Hogan of Garland, TX; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, William Ashley Hogan.
