Michael W. Hughes passed away after a brief illness on March 12, 2024, with his family by his side.

He was born to Terry and Danielle Hughes on March 24, 1988, in Waterbury Connecticut. In 1998 the family relocated to Florida when he was 10. He discovered music while at Glendale Elementary School. Michael graduated from Vero Beach High School in 2006. He went on to study music at the University of Florida. Professionally, Michael held many positions. His true loves though, were music, performing, and the title of DAD.

He is survived by his parents, his sister Shannon (James)Dillane, and his son Colten Hughes.

Michael was an avid sports fanatic. He was always watching the Rays, Lightning, Celtics, or Patriots (even after they lost Brady).

Memorial service will be at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home, 1950 20 th Street, Vero Beach, Florida from 4 – 6 on March 22, 2024.
