Michael Ray Newman, 47, of Vero Beach, FL died Sunday, March 22, 2009 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL.
Mr. Newman was born January 28, 1962 in Langley AFB, VA and moved to Vero Beach one year ago coming from Nappanee, IN.
He had worked at the Pilot Truck Stop in Ft Pierce, FL as an attendant. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Vero Beach where he volunteered with Wednesday night dinners.
Survivors include his mother Peggy Ann Hepler of Vero Beach; father Franklin M. Newman of Port Huron , MI; sons Matthew Newman of Nappanee, IN and Michael Newman of Deltona, FL; daughter Samantha Newman of Deltona, FL; brothers Brian Newman of Nappanee, IN, Jay D. Newman and Franklin Newman III both of Chesterfield, MI; sister Cindy Newman of Grand Rapids, MI.
Services: A memorial celebration will take place 11 AM, Thursday, March 26, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Vero Beach, FL.
