Michael D. Ostrower,64, of Vero Beach, FL died May 17, 2012 at Indian River Medical Center.

Mr. Ostrower was born March 7, 1948 in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Vero Beach 24 years ago coming from Huntington, NY.

He was a Special Education teacher at Gifford Middle School for over 15 years.

Survivors include his loving wife of 25 years Lisa Ostrower of Vero Beach, FL; daughter Megan Ostrower of Vero Beach, FL; son Ben Ostrower of Vero Beach, FL and brother Donald Ostrower of Ardsley, NY.

He was preceded in death by his parents Arlene and Milton Ostrower and his sister Jill Modell.

Family will receive friends at 5pm on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach, FL with a memorial service to follow at 5:30pm.
