Mike Mehalko's Obituary
Mike Mehalko, 99, died December 25, 2015, at Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach, Florida.
He was a resident of Vero Beach for 44 years. Previously he lived in Middlesex NJ.
As a recipient of a Purple Heart, he proudly served in the Marines during WWII and was recently honored on Iwo Jima day.
He was married to Genevieve, deceased, for 59 years
.
He is survived by Children, Michael, Christine, and Martin.
He enjoyed fishing, singing in choir, and a long standing member of Saint Helen Catholic Church.
He will be missed by his 5 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
A Memorial service with Military honors will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 1 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
