Obituary

Mildred "Milly" Corbett Clark, 94, of Vero Beach, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2013 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.

Mrs. Clark was born July 28, 1918 in Wilkes Barre, PA. She had been a resident of Vero Beach for 30 years, coming from Dade County.

During WWII she was the supervisor of a radio manufacturer that designed and made radios for the Allied troops.

Prior to her retirement she worked as a cook for Hialeah Junior High School of the Dade County School System.

She attended Our Savior Lutheran Church in Vero Beach. She received the Valiant Woman Award from Church Women United, and was a member of the Ruth Circle women's church group.

Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Pastor Richard Clark; daughters, Mildred Ann Ward of Tennessee and Susanne Gilnett of Virginia; brother, John Mirola of New York; and several grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Douglas Corbett.

Services: A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the Our Savior Lutheran Church in Vero Beach with Pastor Jack Diehl officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Our Savior Lutheran Church Building Fund at 1850 6th Ave Vero Beach, FL 32960.
