Mildred M. Shreve, 92, of Vero Beach, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at the Grace Rehabilitation Center of Vero Beach.
Mrs. Shreve was born March 8, 1920 in Worthville, Pennsylvania. She had been a resident of Vero Beach for 56 years, coming from Union City, Pennsylvania.
She was a charter member of the Indian River Campers, which was established in the 1960s.
Survivors include her daughters, Pauline Kennedy of Vero Beach, Karen (Herbert) Fischer of Jamestown, Pennsylvania, Sandra (Jerry) Koehn of Vero Beach; sons Frank Shreve of Manchester, Tennessee and Donald (Roberta) Shreve of Cambridge, Ohio; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Vick Shreve; granddaughter Edwina Fischer and great granddaughter Ashley Yingling.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2012 at the Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home with the interment following at Crestlawn Cemetery.
