Minnie Young, a 30 plus year residence of Sebastian, Florida passed away peacefully after a short time in home Hospice care at her granddaughter's home in Lenoir North Carolina om January 19, 2022.

Minnie was born January 19, 1929, in Thomasville Georgia. As a child her family moved to Miami. She graduated Teck High in Miami and had a career as a Buyers Assistant with J. Byron's.

Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her husband, Newton Young, and her daughter Barbara Gladstone. She is survived by her son, Tom Young, and three grandchildren, Craig Young, Crystal Carroll, and Jon Gladstone.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 PM, Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Seawinds Funeral Home in Sebastian. A Graveside Service will follow at Sebastian City Cemetery at 1:30.
