Minter Wyatt Thompson, 91, of Vero Beach, FL died Monday February 21, 2011 at his home.
Mr. Thompson was born January 6, 1920, in Norfolk, VA. and moved to Vero Beach in 1980 coming from Key Biscayne, FL.
Mr. Thompson worked as a Regional Manager in the railroad industry and worked for the CSX Corporation and Seaboard Coastline Railroad.
Wyatt was a member of the Moorings Club, Vero Beach Country Club, and the Rotary Club in Miami
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sallie Bond Thompson; parents, James & Emma; and brother, JB Thompson.
Survivors include his daughters; Diana L. Hartman of Miami, FL, and Robin Dunkin-Smith of Coppell, TX; three granddaughters, and three great-granddaughters.
Services will be held at a later date in Virginia.
