Mirena Rena Landers

April 25, 1944 – January 2, 2025

Mirena Rena Landers, 80, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025. Born on April 25, 1944, in Yalta, Russia, Mirena's life was one of resilience, creativity, and love.

In 1968, Mirena immigrated to the United States with her first husband and her parents, determined to embrace new opportunities while preserving her rich cultural heritage. She built a remarkable career as an HVAC engineer and entrepreneur, founding Am-Tech Engineers Inc. and CCC Habitat International. Mirena was widely respected for her innovation, dedication, and leadership in her field.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Mirena had a deep appreciation for the arts. She loved attending art shows, playing the piano, practicing yoga, and creating intricate stained-glass works. Her vibrant spirit shone through in all she pursued.

Mirena moved to Vero Beach 25 years ago from Andover, Massachusetts, and quickly became part of the community she cherished.

She is survived by her daughter, Diana Orzechowski, and her husband, Daniel Theriault, of Damon, Texas; her brother, Adi Bonderman, of California; and her devoted caregiver, Adrianna Stuckey, and her husband, James, of Vero Beach.

Mirena's legacy will be remembered by all who knew her as a woman of strength, grace, and enduring love.

A celebration of her life will be held 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
