Obit: Claude Mort A. Mortimer
Claude Mort A. Mortimer, 98, of Vero Beach, FL died Monday, March 7, 2011 at Royal Palm Convalescent Center in Vero Beach.
Mr. Mortimer was born May 6, 1912 Rimersburg, PA and was a longtime resident of Indian River County.
He had worked in sales for Graber Co., a national window treatment company, and was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach and the Vero Beach Country Club.
His survivors include three daughters Linda (Vince) DiGiorno of Naples, FL, Claudia (Dave) McNulty of Vero Beach, FL and Sandra (Mike) Zorovich of Shrewsbury, MA; eleven grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his first wife Margaret Mortimer, his second wife Gloria Mortimer, a brother Vincent Mortimer, and three sisters Marguerite Henry, Arveda McCullough and Val Jean Laughlin.
Services: The family will receive friends 5-7 PM, Wednesday, March 9, 2011 with a prayer service at 6 PM at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. Mass will be celebrated 12 Noon, Thursday, March 10, 2011 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
