Muriel Kegler Abrahamson (Lockwood), age 87, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at the Hamrick Home. Formerly of Palm Beach County, she relocated to Okeechobee 20 years ago.
Dancing was first and foremost in her life as she had commented that she would rather dance than eat.
She was preceded in death by her son, John Lockwood.
Survivors include daughters, Suzanne Suzie (Pete) Hanscom of Jupiter, Christy Usilton of Tavares, Fla.; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; sister, Linda (Ralph) Douglas of Live Oak, Fla., long-time companion, Marvin Zulauf of Okeechobee; sister-in-law, Alice Kegler of North Carolina; and numerous wonderful, caring friends.
There will be no services held.
