Nancy Kinnear Kafer, 89, of Vero Beach, FL passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Indian River Medical Center.

Nancy was born January 20, 1926 in Albany, New York the daughter of the late Ronald and Marguerite Kinnear. She had been a resident of Vero Beach for 25 years, coming from Short Hills, NJ. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 34 years, Howard Kafer in 1983.

Nancy is survived by one son and two daughters; Peter Kafer of West Chester, PA, Karen Lindgren and her husband Bruce of Tiburon, CA, and Lynn Kafer of Moretown, VT, two grandchildren; Kimberly Lindgren of Chicago, IL and Scuyler Lindgren of San Diego, CA. Nancy was predeceased by one sister, Jean.

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Nantucket Trustees of Reservations.
