Nancy C. Stroop, 76, of Vero Beach, Fl. died Thursday, August 27, 2009 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Stroop was born February 5, 1933 in Zanesville, Ohio and moved to Vero Beach eight years ago from Wilton, Ct.
She worked as a newspaper editorial consultant for Metro Editorial Services in New York City and was a volunteer at the Vero Beach Theatre Guild, appearing in a number of productions, as well as the Vero Beach Museum of Art.
Survivors include her sons David Stroop (Teresa) of Indianapolis, IN; Dean Stroop (Alison) of Montoursville, PA; Daryl Stroop of Fishers, IN; and daughter Debbie Pollins of Cape Coral, FL; brother David Cook (Michele) of Butler, PA; sister Sue Betres of Butler, PA; and brother John Cook (Anita) of Santa Rosa, CA; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and caregiver Pat Anwyl of Vero Beach.
She was predeceased in death by her husband Walter 'Bud' Stroop.
Service: Her ever-present vibrant joy of life will be celebrated by family and friends at the Vero Beach Theatre Guild Saturday, October 10 at 2:30 p.m.
