Neil Joseph Aronne, 79, of Vero Beach died March 28, 2012 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mr. Aronne was born November 7, 1932 in New York, NY. He had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1982, coming from Rhode Island.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Prior to his retirement he worked as a school teacher for over 35 years in Barrington, RI.
He was a parishioner at Saint Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach where taught CCD classes and served as an usher. He was also a member of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel church in Bristol, RI. He volunteered at local soup kitchens in both Vero Beach and Bristol.
Neil was also a longtime member of the Vero Beach Codgers Softball club.
Survivors include his sons, David & Tim; daughters, Jane & Beth; sister, Theresa; three grandchildren and wife, Sandra Spoto.

Service: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Saint Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
