Nicholas Jerome Vitale, 67, of Hobe Sound, FL died Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart.
Mr. Vitale was born May 21. 1942 in Staten Island, NY and moved to Hobe Sound 20 years ago from Tamarac, FL.
He was the prior owner of a messenger service for several years in Manhattan, NY. He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his loving companion Alice of Hobe Sound, sons Stephen Vitale of SC and Richard Vitale of NY, daughter Faye Thompson of VA, brothers Jerome Vitale of Indian Rocks, FL, John Vitale of NJ and Vincent Vitale of Staten Island, NY, sister Marianne Vitale of NJ and five grandchildren.
Services: A memorial service will be held in Staten Island at a later date.
