Norbert Henrichs, age 80, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011, at his home.
After 30 years of service as a rural mail carrier in Cedar Lake, Indiana, he retired and had been a resident of Okeechobee for 21 years.
Holding lifetime membership in the VFW, Eagles, and the American Legion, he enjoyed his active involvement and also fishing in his spare time.
He was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Henrichs and brother, Henry Henrichs.
Survivors include Arlene, his wife of 56 years; a daughter, Marcia (John) Mital of Rensselaer, Ind. and two grandsons, John (Kathelene) Mital of Ft. Drum, NY and Jacob (Stephanie) Mital of Rensselaer, Ind.
There will be no visitation or service.
