Obituary

Norbert (Fred) A. Schultz, Jr, 70, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away at home on December 22, 2017.
Fred was born to the late Norbert A.and Alice P.Schultz, Sr. in Indianapolis IN on December 4, 1947.
He graduated from Northwestern in 1966 and then entered the US Army where he served his country during the Vietnam War.  Following his enlistment in the Army, he started his career at General Motors retiring in 1998 as a Second Level Supervisor of Engineering in Flint, MI.  He spent his time in Michigan on Lake Fenton enjoying boating and fishing with friends and family.  After his retirement, he moved to Vero Beach, Florida.  He was an animal lover and spent his retirement working at The Village Pet Inn walking dogs and being "Mr. Fix it" for the facility.  Fred was a very private man but loved dearly by those who were close to him.
Fred is predeceased by his parents Norbert and Alice Schultz and his wife Linda Jayne Schultz who he adored and missed terribly. He is survived by his brother James (Becky) Schultz of Flushing, MI.  Children, Jeffrey (Marla) Schultz of Fenton MI and Michael Schultz of Fenton, MI,  Korri (Pieter) van Dalen of Vero Beach, FL,  Kristi Wheatley of Fellsmere, FL and Brooke Martin of Fenton, MI.  He had 8 grandchildren and 2 great grand children.
His wish was to be cremated and be spread with Linda in the Keys.  There will be no service.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to the Humane Society of Vero Beach.
