Norma Jane Crockett died at Dixie Oaks Manor in Vero Beach on March 27, 2009.
She was born in Waymansville, Indiana on November 2, 1923. She was the first child of Elmer and Melinda Otte.
She moved to Vero Beach in 2002, coming from Morristown, TN. She lived her life in faithful service to the Lord, in loving admiration to her husband of 66 years, and in tireless devotion to her three sons and their families.
She was of the Lutheran faith and was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Vero Beach and of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Morristown, TN. She also faithfully served at Grace Lutheran Church in Columbus, Indiana.
She is survived by her husband, Francis (Pic) Crockett, her sons, David Crockett of Minneapolis, MN, Jim Crockett of Vero Beach, FL, and John Crockett of Richmond, TX, eleven grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
Service: A memorial service will be held 3 PM, Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Vero Beach, FL. Burial will be in Vallonia, Indiana at a later date.
