Norman Richard Valente's Obituary
Norman Richard Valente, 75, of Vero Beach, FL died, Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Dixie Oak Manor in Vero Beach.
Mr. Valente was born on September 17, 1935 in New Haven, CT and has lived in Vero Beach for 10 years coming from Connecticut.
He owned and operated his own flooring business in Connecticut for over 30 years until his retirement, and was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his daughters, Rayanne Adams, Rhonda Dawson and Carrie Diaz, all of Vero Beach, FL, Norma Valente and Pamela Lowther, both of Ellsworth, MA; brothers, Charles George and Nelson Valente, all of Connecticut and Gary Valente of Florida; 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Butchy Valente.
Services: The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home on Saturday, November 13, 2010. A Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery.
