Oliver Walter Marcy, Jr. of Barefoot Bay, FL died Monday, September 14, 2009 at Sebastian River Medical Center.
He was born January 13, 1935 in Peekskill, NY and was a resident of Barefoot Bay since 1983, coming from New Milford, CT.
Mr. Marcy was a graduate of FBI Academy and was a former captain in New Milford, CT and a night security supervisor at Johns Island. He was a member of the VFW in Palm Bay, the Moose Lodge. He served in the US Air Force.
Survivors include his companion of 32 years, Nancy Poletto of Barefoot Bay, FL; three sons Philip Marcy of Erin, TN, Oliver Walter Marcy, III. of Denver, CO, Kevin L. Marcy of Souda Arabia; sister Gale Van Bezooijen of Brookfield, CT; six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Memorial donations may be made to ones a favorite charity.
