Obit: Pacifica R. Lucero
Pacifica Reyes Lucero, 84, of Vero Beach, FL died Friday, March 11, 2011 at the Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce, FL.
Mrs. Lucero was born February 27, 1927 in Los Banos, Laguna, Philippines and moved to Florida eleven years ago.
She received her Bachelors Degree in Education in Manila and had worked for the Bureau of Lands of the Philippine Government prior to her retirement. Mrs. Lucero was a member of The Fellowship at Central Florida in Kissimmee, a nondenominational Christian church pastored by Alex Lucero.
She is survived by her husband Atty. Teodoro T. Lucero of Vero Beach; daughter Elizabeth Maralit of the Philippines; son Alex (Mila) Lucero of Vero Beach; daughter Virginia (Edgardo) Sace of the Philippines; son Ted (Remy) Lucero, Jr. of Orlando, FL; son Jerry (Noemi) Lucero of Antioch, California; daughter Jennifer (Danne) Tecson of Orlando, FL; daughter Jacqueline (Louie) Abola of the Philippines; 19 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
Services: A Life Celebration Service at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach will begin at 11 AM, Sunday, March 13, 2011 with visitation continuing until 8 PM. The family will again receive friends 2-4 PM, Monday, March 14, 2011 at the funeral home with a graveside service following at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
