Patricia Britt Gijanto

Britt Gijanto died
Wednesday, June 27, 2012
at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center after a
short illness. She was born
on March 21, 1951and raised
in Chesapeake, Va. She lived
in Florida with her husband
Joseph Gijanto, a retired
New Jersey attorney.
In addition to her husband,
Patti is survived by her
parents Wilton and Mary Jo
Britt Sr., her brother Wilton
Britt Jr. and wife, Manette,
two nephews Justin and
Tyler, her son Jason Zemaitis
and daughter-in-law Laura
and two grandchildren Caroline
and Christopher. She
had four wonderful stepchildren,
Jill, Liza, Pamela and
Susan, and two step grandchildren
Luke and Ryan,
whom she loved deeply.
Patti is also survived by a
granddaughter Christi Johnson
and great-grandchild
Rebekah, and aunts, uncles,
many cousins and friends.
She is predeceased by her
son and daughter-in-law
Brett and Tammy Chapman -
Zemaitis of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania.
Patti taught public and private
school and loved all her
students. She found great - -
joy to help them in times -
of need and many of her .
. students remained in contact
with her. She retired early
because of her health and
will be missed by all.
A memorial service was
be held on Saturday, July 7
at 11 a.m. at Faith Baptist
Church, 1629 Jolliff Road
in Chesapeake, Va. Pastor
Lynn Hardaway officiated
over the memorial service.
Visitation with the family
was held from 10 to 11
a.m. at the church.
